JENNA WEBER
Co-Director
Jenna attended AASC as a camper when it was known as Korean Culture camp from 2006 to 2017. She returned as a counselor at 19, and stepped into the co-director role in 2022. She met an amazing group of lifelong friends through AASC and sees camp as being one of the most important part of her life. She grew up in Cincinnati, OH and attended Ohio State University, graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Strategic Communication.
Jenna lives in Cincinnati with her husband Mike, and black lab Keno. She has been working in the healthcare staffing industry since 2017. She enjoys traveling, reading, and trying new restaurants around Cincy!
KATIE MESSNER
Co-Director
Katie grew up in the camp community as a camper, with her younger brother alongside her throughout the years. She made many close friends at camp and traveled back to Korea with a few of them.
Katie grew up in Northern Ohio and attended Ohio University for undergrad and received a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and University of Dayton for graduate school finishing with a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering. She has led an impressive career in her field, now working as a PAQ Engineer with the Air Force Civilian Service.
Katie currently resides in Dayton with her boyfriend and their adorable French Bulldog.
ALEX HATKE
Co-Director
Alex grew up attending camp when it was known as KCC for many years. He has grown in his staff roles, starting as a Counselor in Training, moving to Counselor and serving in that role for the past 7 years. Alex was moved into the Co-Director role at the end of 2023 to train under Jenna.
Alex grew up in Southern Ohio and attended Ohio State University, graduating in 2019 with a degree in Public Health. He moved to Los Angeles, California soon after graduation and has been enjoying life out in the sun since then working in event marketing and partnership management.
